Gravel roads can be hazardous to drivers with little or no experience. Performance Driving Australia provide training for drivers who are required to drive on gravel roads.

Driver Training on Gravel Roads

Driver Training on Gravel Roads

Performance Driving Australia design and deliver Gravel Driver Training courses. We can tailor a program to help keep you and your drivers safe when operating on loose surface or gravel roads.

The gravel driving program is closely aligned with our standard Defensive Driving Program but all practical content is delivered on gravel roads.

Ideal for drivers operating in regional areas with frequent travel on unsealed roads, the course focuses on the general handling, emergency braking and car control skillsĀ  on these road surfaces.

Drivers can also achieve a nationally recognised qualification to be issued at the completion of the course (RTO services provided by Riklan Emergency Management Services).

RIIVEH201D Operate Light Vehicle

With all passenger vehicles in Australia delivered after November 2013 coming standard with ABS and ESP systems, understanding how they work on gravel is essential to safe driving.

These programs can be delivered at your site or at one of our preferred venues anywhere in Australia.

Training can also be catered to suit specific drivers experience levels, type of vehicles and operational requirements.

4WD Training can also be included if required with this course.
